Accounting Clerk

Position Summary

The Accounting Clerk’s primary function is to support the process of tracking invoices and resolving accounts for our clients. Extremely detail-oriented and a team player. The role will have a high level of coordination with our in-house accountant to ensure that our books are always up-to-date and accurate so that we can make effective decisions about the business

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Assist in generating invoices
  • Process incoming mail concerning billing and invoicing
  • Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions
  • Initiate collections on past-due accounts
  • Assist with month-end closing
  • Protect organization’s values by keeping information confidential
  • Generate age analysis reports
  • Reconcile all credit card purchases
  • Approve and compile all employee expenses
  • Prepare Expense Reports
  • General Business Support
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associates Degree or higher
  • 2 years + related experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Proficient Microsoft Power Point, Outlook and Word skills
  • Experience with customer service and client communication
