Technical Project Manager

Position Summary

The Technical Project Manager will assume project ownership and be the primary driver of project results. This includes, but is not limited to managing budget, scope, deliverables, responsibilities, calendars, and communications throughout designated projects.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Manage the client engagement, internally, as it relates to projects and programs with the ultimate responsibility for the success and failure of initiatives
  • Use expertise to coordinate a solution for a client by leveraging the capabilities of multiple teams within the organization
  • Management of deliverables for product functionality roadmap
  • Manage project risks, identify issues, and drive resolution
  • Manage the budget, scope and deliverables for all project and program initiatives to ensure they align with client expectations
  • Ensure the team is on track to complete deliverables on schedule
  • Develop milestone reviews for the key milestones as needed
  • Ensure goals are met in areas including client satisfaction, output excellence, quality, and project delivery
  • Identify and resolve issues with conflicting priorities
  • Prepare presentations for various levels of leadership as needed
  • Provide ownership, guidance, and support during execution of change management activities
  • Ensure adherence to project governance and compliance
  • Monitor project progress and provide status/metrics
  • Track business resources and identify any resource issues/gaps based on project plans

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years experience working as a Project Manager (software projects preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Software Development Principles
  • Ability to manage and report scope deliverables, budget, and timelines
  • Experience working on complex projects, across different business areas at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency using JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite
