Website Analytics and Insights Analyst

The Website Analytics and Insights Analyst will provide statistical and advanced quantitative analysis to project staff. The Website Analytics and Insights Analyst is responsible for analyzing data, preparing reports for leadership, identifying insights and performance improvements. They must have strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.), Word, Power Point, Access and common analytic tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics. The Website Analytics and Insights Analyst should have excellent analysis and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong business communication skills to resolve issues and communicate with internal and external parties are necessary for this role.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Interpret and communicate analytic findings and integrate into a broader story
  • Assist project teams on day-to-day tasks associated with statistics and advanced analytic methods utilizing Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Develop positive relationships with project staff through quality analyses and timely execution
  • Create daily, weekly, monthly reports and provide ad hoc data query support for tactical and strategic initiatives
  • Respond to requests for data by determining/understanding the users’ needs then collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to provide accurate and comprehensive reports
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert as it relates to analytics capabilities
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify issues to support and/or drive decision making
  • Recommend and implement new or modified reporting, processes, and procedures to improve business outcomes.
  • Works with stakeholders to determine KPI’s and provides reporting against them

Qualifications & Experience

  • College degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in analytics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate
  • Google Analytics
  • Adobe Analytics
  • General business knowledge
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and understand new areas of data
  • Well-rounded problem solving and multi-tasking abilities
  • Critical thinking and reasoning skills
  • Strong Data Visualization skills using tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience in the digital marketing space such as SEO, SEM, Video, or CRO
  • Familiarity with tools such as SEMRush, Optimizely, Google Search Console, or similar
